Playing to win (vs) Playing to stay in the team

Rahul Dravid once told me that every team has a big pot into which some people contribute and from which some withdraw. In the next two games, India need people to put their hands up and commit to be contributors. A person’s character is best revealed when he seeks the seemingly difficult.

Every team has a big pot. I love that part. Ever heard of the term, "Akshaya Patra". Well, according to Hindu Mythology, it is a "magical inexhaustible pot vessel". If only team India had something like that, everyone could just keep withdrawing without having to contribute anything.
