“I have a passion for the game… met Murali in Sri Lanka, thought he was a wonderful personality and did a few interviews with him. Later on, when talk of doing his biography came about, I signed up to cover the non-cricketing side of his life — his being Tamilian, his first 16 years in boarding school, his experiences with the riots in Sri Lanka, his charity work, etc. I think it’s a one-off though."


The point behind the post? Well, it isn't always that the biography of a cricketer is written by an award winning poet and choreographer. And can't I just post something without making a point?
